      • BIG finishes the season with the best P5 inter-conference winning percentage, at .615.

        PAC and ACC at .600
        SEC and B12 at .400

This is why ufm and osu will continue to dominate the east and probably the B10. This isn't going to change any time soon. ufm is building a machine to rival that of Alabama's. M and PSU will challenge and MSU will frequently play a roll in determining the East conference pecking order but the more important issue is ......

Until the light bulb goes on and the BIG Front office realizes they've got to put M in the West, matbe MSU and move maybe Purdue or Illinois in the East to keep PSU, osu and MSU from cannibalizing each other's and the BIG10's CFP chances, we'll have the kind of BS that's going on with the CCG and CFP now most years.

Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

                • I'd love to have you guys back in the West. It would offset some of the BIG scheduling fail that we are immersed in currently.

                  • You've seen my proposals about moving MSU to the West (because M and OSU want the game at the end of the season.. can't have the potential for back to back weeks playing the same team). I'd move Purdue to the east and then in the third week of sept, have cross-rivalry week. Mich plays MSU, OSU plays Wisky, Neb plays PSU, etc.. own that weekend of CF.

                    JMO..

                    • btw.. IF Michigan stays at 3.49 and UNL stays at 3.37 for the next 4 yrs.. UNL will be fine, from a talent perspective. It's close enough. Then it's about coaching, development and luck (injuries that end careers).

                      • Any differential within .5 is a crapshoot IMO.

                            • I agree with Entropy about the crossovers.

Also, the B10 has screwed itself many years in my lifetime by the crazy rule used to break ties, namely, that the team that goes to the Rose Bowl, or the CG, has to be the team that has waited the longest. This has produced the perverse outcomes from this year and last year, and will still in the future. We how have a formal ranking system by a committee, not by the league. In case of a tie in the division, let the top rated team advance. it is really not much more complicated than that.
