  • It did bite them but Miles' absolute refusal to bring in a good QB costs them again.

Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

The Big10 seems to have finally surpassed the SEC, remarkable turnaround in 2-3 years.

That's what Meyer and Harbaugh buy ya

        • I think the sample size is way too small to make such a determination.

            • I agree with AA. Need to win more NC'S before you can begin thinking about that.

              • Heh. Okay. But, c'mon. Nine months ago the SEC was 8-2 in bowls and won the NC.

That said, the B1G is a good conference. And has been.

                • B1G was usually real weak in the mid-to-late 00's, OSU then everyone else a distant second.

                      • Northwestern with the B1G's first really shitty egg laying of the year.

Wisky with a really impressive game. Probably wasn't as close as the score indicated since 7 of LSU's points came off of a pick six.

With that said, I think that we're seeing the beginning of the end for Les Miles. That offense is poorly coached and it looks like the defense won't be lights out enough to carry them to 12-10 scores. A shame because I'm a big Cam Cameron fan but I guarantee you he won't be there next year, and probably Miles won't be either.

Not yet. Was listening to ESPN Radio and their consensus was that it was SEC then Pac 12, ACC and maybe then the B1G though the Big 12 is probably better top to bottom.
2012 Detroit Lions Draft: 1) Cordy Glenn G , 2) Brandon Taylor S, 3) Sean Spence olb, 4) Joe Adams WR/KR, 5) Matt McCants OT, 7a) B.J. Coleman QB 7b) Kewshan Martin WR

                            • ACC has a top two then absolute poop. Way too early to sort out the Pac 12, Big XII, SEC and B1G...

B1G has been lagging the other 3 with the other 3 being deeper in the middle. B1G's bottom was also much weaker than the Big XII and SEC. That gap might be closing; B1G needs Nebraska to be a top 10-20 program and strengthen the B1G West.
