  • Yes, either a result of weak OOC schedule or a group of bad teams at the bottom. Bring on the 64 team superconference. Then you don't have the SEC trying to play scrimmages on the weekend before Thanksgiving. We have seen Northwestern, and we know how shitty they are.

Not sure about Wisky, Strange. Didn't Iowa clinch the West? MSU beats Ohio, and Iowa jumps to # 3.

Don't look now, but NW is 9-2, and is likely to finish at 10-2 after beating Illinois this week. That win is looking better all the time. And as a 'by the way', they also beat Stanford.

      • Illinois has agreed to a 2 year deal to name Bill Cubit head coach.

Maybe it's a good thing for Illinois right now because I've heard their administration is a mess. It's only for $1.2 million per season, pretty cheap.

              • Nope. PSU very eager to to get this over with as painlessly as possible...

                • PSU very mediocre. They've a long way to go to recover from sanctions...and they're offensive staff is one of the worst in the Big10. And that's saying something.

                  • Just lack talent on the offensive line and receiver. Plus no Depth on defense.

                    • Have I got this right that if Iowa loses to MSU and ND beats Stanford, there 's a good chance the Big will be left out of a seat at the table?

I see the top three as Clemson, Alabama and, assuming OU does what they are supposed to do tonight, OU. The fourth chair would seem to be NDs if they dispense easily with Stanford.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

                        • P5 CG winners with 1 loss are in. Even North Carolina if they can kick Clemsons butt.

                          • OU or ND would be left out first, imo.. Big12 being left out 2 yrs in a row might be what is needed to move Texas or OU into the Big. =)

                            • Rooting for chaos which at this point is huge controversy over a ton of 1 loss teams.

                              • The B10 is the only guarantee at the moment.

If Florida wins tonight, the SEC is guaranteed.

I think UNC would get in if they beat Clemson, but they could get bumped.

Okie State, Notre Dame and Stanford need help.

And, of course, Ohio State is out.

So those alive for the CFP are: Clemson, Alabama, Iowa, MSU, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Okie State, North Carolina and Stanford.

The B10 will get a CFP team and 2 NY6 bids, so that's another really good year for the conference.
