  • Jeff, one of these times when you come up here, we're going to make a trip to Cabela's so we can get you a good pair of long johns.

So that way, when the temperature drops below 65, your teeth won't be chattering ... :-)

            • What is your favorite Big Ten campus? BTN.com senior writer Tom Dienhart provides his list of the top seven college campuses in the Big Ten. Check it out!

              Best big campuses.

Problem is these are also town reviews. I think Madison is a clear #1. I've never been impressed with state college, but you know my bias. I'd put Lincoln>AA, but UM>UNL.

              • College Park? WTF? There's a two-block strip and a plaza with parking metres. The campus is okay. Nice quad, but that's about it. It's not a college town in any way. It's a mile-long section of a surburban artery that's not at all walkable. The metro stop is buried way off the ``strip'', if you'd call it that.

                • I do like the word ``stately'' for Ann Arbor. Sort of like how you'd use it for an older woman who was obviously very beautiful long ago. That fits.

                  • They really don't get worse than College Park. They lose all credibility by having them anywhere but near the very bottom of the B10.

                      • The backroom of college football is a game of king of the hill. The big winners get all the titles, but also all the money, the top recruits, the exposure and even control of the rules...

Big Ten needs to fight back against recruiting rules that favor the SEC

I can take fewer wins (like 7, begrudgingly) if one of the W's is against spartie or the gray nuts.

Wonder what M's 10y win percentage was right before Bo took over.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.
