Urbz can practice all he wants, but there's no way he's beating Hoke in a pizza eating contest
You bet your a$$.
And Hoke wouldn't start off the contest with some cheap little concession stand pizza. He'd start off with the "Bigfoot" pizza from Bubba's of Ann Arbor, and that would be the appetizer.
Urbz would be crying uncle after 3 slices ...
I don't always roll a joint, but when I do, its usually my ankle
I'm glad everyone's 2nd favorite team won yesterday! Maybe if you lick Dantonio's boots he'll let you touch the trophy! Congratulations on your step-title. Jesus Christ.
?........ Or maybe I'm just older and slightly less invested.
Heh ......older yes, slightly less invested, NO.
It still stings like a mo fo.
I felt going into this match-up the pressure was on osu. I thought they played tight, esp. braxton ..... He was guiding the ball, not at all relaxed like I've seen him. They clicked for about 10 minutes in the third then just got tight it looked like to me.
ufm also did not look comfortable. When the stakes are high, I'm not sure he doesn't get a little tight himself. Not surprising actually but when you get to the top, you better not be a quitter.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

WRs dropped some big balls. Brown dropped a 40 yard bomb in the 1st. Smith could have made a tough TD catch. And Spencer had a critical, I mean critical drop in the 4th on 3rd down.
I haven't a clue what your point is about UFM. It's one thing if he had a track record like Schembechler in big games. He doesn't. He beats his rivals like a drum and has won two national titles and has two more undefeated seasons.
They gave MSU too much credit. They could have won that game with Hyde and Miller running 55-60 times for 350 yards. It was there. Almost eveyr drive that ended had an incomplete pass on 1st down that doomed the drive.
And, for the life of me, I can't figure out why Hyde didn't get at least ONE touch in the critical final series on either 3rd and 3 or 4th and 2. I mean, he didn't have a run of less than 2 yards all night. They couldn't handle him. And OSU's interior line owned MSU's DTs (and that's with Elflein playing in place of Hall, who didn't play a down). Every time they passed, they attacked MSU's strength with OSU's weaker part of the offense. Pound Hyde all day, especially at 24-17, and it's over.
It's hard to win every game. If this were a pattern from UFM and Herman, I'd be concerned. As it is, they're usually very good with the offense. This was just a bad game. It happens. Winning 25 in a row isn't easy. Teams have bad days. Coaches have bad days. All in all, I couldn't be happier with where OSU Football is and where it's going.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]? Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

Having Dennard in brown's face most of the time didn't help. I thought the long ball got over done considering the excellent CB play MSU was showing. Who was making those calls? Bet it was ufm, ass hole puckered, looking for the big play. What he should have been doing was being patient and, like you said, running Hyde 50 times. Esp. After going up two scores.

I'd call leaving UF the start of quitting and not delivering when the pressure is on (e.g. a huge game with MNC implications for osu and the B1G v. MSU) a second example. Quitting may be a poor choice or words. A better description might be poor performance under extreme pressure. But I get your point. urban is a legend if not only in his own mind and those of fanatical osu fans. BTW I still think he's a very good coach.

Agreed ...... But when fans of osu go around thumping their chests about it, they better be ready to eat some humble pie when the big run comes to it's soul crushing predictable end. Such is life.
