            • Well, except for coaches who have those ohio roots like Dantonio and Narduzzi who won't change anything they do if it improves their chances of winning a game ..... and knocking out QBs and other skill players by having their defensive players practice launching themselves right at them, head down, will certainly do that.
I thought it was absolutely clear that Jeff, with his reference to "ohio roots", was referring to ohio. Yes, that "ohio". Not the state "Ohio", but the criminal enterprise known in these parts as "ohio".

Not surprised it went right over the heads of certain participants on this forum...

              • Pat Narduzzi never coached at Ohio State or Ohio University. Care to revise and resubmit.

Take it from a guy that lived there for 6 years. Where the game is going to be is perfectly safe. You are talking the downtown and midtown are and that is fine. Now if you want to go out on the East side (especially past 7 mile) you might have an issue.

                    True.

I'll revise my own post, referring to the original quote I had copied and pasted to my post:

                    to read as follows:

Not surprised it went right over the heads of certain participants on this forum. Narduzzi, though he didn't coach at ohio, has obviously been heavily influenced in his methods by his own head coach, Dantonio, who learned well, in turn, under the Saintly Hypocrite, Jim Tressel.
FIFY, now does it pass inspection for opinionated SS Butthurt accuracy?

                    • It certainly lives up to the standards of factual "accuracy," denial and dishonesty that I'm accustomed to dealing with from M fans.

                      • Maybe Rob's "dishonesty" stems from the part where he called Jim Tressel "saintly".

                        • so a couple years into UNL joining the BIG and I was wondering what people think now... what has surprised you in a positive way? negative?

no judging on my part.. just curious. I'll tell you what I think later.. and what I think UNL fans think, as a collective.

                          • They added competitive depth that was needed IMO.

They haven't embarassed the conference so that's a plus (unlike two other high profile schools)

                              Narduzzi Fact (from Wikipedia):

Narduzzi is the son of Bill Narduzzi, who was the head coach at Youngstown State University from 1975 to 1985. Pat played football for his father in 1985 as a freshman.[
Youngstown State...hmmm, isn't that where the Saintly Hypocrite Tressel coached from '86 until ohio plucked him away, obviously impressed with his track record of cheating and coverups?

Yes, I know, nothing but more opinionated drivel by one of the crew of the SS Butthurt...

                              • I'm aware of Narduzzi's career. He's a coach from Ohio, but didn't coach at Ohio State. That much is plain from Buchanan's statement.

If you're going to troll with imbecilic remarks, they ought at least not be so remarkably and demonstrably wrong. LOL.
