  • Also, if you didn't see this earlier today, an excellent college finances link. I find the subsidy column especially interesting.

Which are the most profitable college athletic programs in the country? See a ranked listed, including total revenue and expenses. Brought to you by USA TODAY.

    • We just switched from Comcast to AT&T Uverse. Regrettable. Comcast was definitely just fine.

dsl, this site shows the revenues, as well as the expenses of all the B1G teams.

You learned earlier this week that Big Ten programs continue to rake in record television revenues from the league. Not surprisingly, several Big Ten programs are among the nation's leaders in overall athletic revenue from 2012, according to USA Today's annual database.

        • Miami loses a lot and it's at Nebraska. Don't you guys have most people back? Nebraska should be much improved.

                • BTW, in case ya missed it, Michigan has scheduled Virginia Tech for 2020-21.

This in spite of certain dire predictions that decent OOC games would now be a thing of the past

I was not one predicting this ....but as I recall most who predicted this scenario were doing so under the BCS regime ... with the CFB Playoff and an emphasis on being a conference champion, I think this mindset may have changed a bit.

                      • The Big Ten schedule for those years isn't out yet, and the impact of unbalanced scheduling has yet to be felt. After a few years of playing Nebraska, Penn State, OSU, MSU, and the #2 west division teams, let's see if most programs still have the stomach to play decent non-conference programs. I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of those Va Tech games got moved ala the Oregon game that was originally slated for either 2002 or 2004, IIRC.

                                Hedging your argument already eh?

Guarantee you quality OOC games will not disappear from the schedule because of this.
