    Not way off. But if listed attendance last year was 64k in a 70k stadium, and you remember it as poorly attended, then that says it all.

      I guess that rumor of the conference hiring seat-fillers was a hoax.

        So you're point is that the SEC has never had a cheating program left out of the consideration for the conference championship. That's kinda OUR point.

          They have, but not two in one year. Arkansas got to go over Alabama in 2002. Once in the 90's as well, I believe

            The Georgia dome is in Georgia.... Who played in the game. Bama is 2 hrs from Atlanta. That does make a difference.

                      • You wish. osu has never done that to M and never will. But I do recall the Eagles/Lions 95 playoffs game.

                        • posted on another board... not sure of accuracy, but interesting thoughts

                          =============

                          The problem is South Carolina. Here's why. The cap one bowl has first pick and wants manziel and ATM. The sec would then send Georgia to Dallas. That leaves lsu and South Carolina to fill the two other top sec bowls, the outback and the chick Fil a.

                          Clemson is a lock for the chick Fil a. They won't rematch Clemson and South Carolina, which means lsu probably would go there. That leaves South Carolina for the outback.

                          The outback doesn't want to rematch South Carolina and nu from last year.

                          So....

                          So, nu is likely either back in Orlando playing ATM or playing South Carolina again, this time in Tampa. Unless the sec let's Georgia fall to the outback I don't see anyway nu plays lsu in the outback unless ATM or Georgia agree to fall all the way to the chick fil a bowl, OR the chick Fil a bowl takes bandy instead of South Carolina and lets South Carolina fall to the gator. Ten lsu would be in the outback.

                          • I don't care who Michigan plays as long as they have a chance to win. Don't want to watch a rerun of RR's final game.

                              • They're going to a bowl game? The UNL president should decline the offer after last night. Just another example that there are way too many bowl games. Six wins is a low standard.
