  • Never bought into Purdue being more than one of the B10's bottom tier.

    • You were obviously right. They're horrid.

Wisky isn't that good, either. But I can't conceive of them not representing that division in the CCG.

UNL-M winner is the obvious favorite to win the CG.

      • Wisky hasn't beaten anyone decent (B10 they've only beaten Illinois, Purdue) yet. They'll cruise their way to the CCG, despite being the 5th (or 6th) best team in the conference.

I still wouldn't count out MSU unless M beats them. They can't be as bad as they have looked the past few weeks.

I think Wisky might be back. They have obviously improved since their OOC season. Gaston and Short gave us some problems, but they got manhandled today.

          • State's not that good. Very mediocre QB, Ok at best WR(better with Burbridge starting), average at best OL. Their D is good but not inpenetrable. I'd expect M to win by a TD or more.

              • There are just a handful of teams in the Big Ten that have actually improved game to game. Wisky looks to be one of them.

We like to call Bilema a meat head and he is but I've never thought he was a bad coach when it comes down to motivating his players, and that's at least 60% of it. He can make some dumb calls and his record shows that but he can also get the most out of what he's got. He's a lot like Hoke actually. Wisky will continue onward and win the Leaders Division. I think they'll beat osu at home Nov. 17th if things continue like they are shaping up, kicking meyer and his assitude and osu in general in the nuts. Good. I'd like to see them finish the regular season 0-2.

I don't don't know what to say about the rest of the Big. PSU hasn't done badly but scratch them and braxton is a threat but that's it for osu and meyer knows it. I've not watched closely enough to see improvement form the buck team. I don't think the defense has gotten better. Scratch them for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that they'll finish the season with two back-to-back losses

Purdue, it turns out, just sucks balls. What's new. Hope shows his ass as the Emperor without any clothes.

Dantonio and MSU showed me nothing today. You can't lose a home game to Ferentz and a shitty Iowa team if you want to advance. Let's see how Dantonio handles this. He has the capability and the talnet on D to take MSU into AA and generate a win but his boys may not be 100% behind him right now.

Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois are fundamentally terrible.

So, we're left with NWU, Neb (didn't play) and Michigan in the legends. Neb has to play in Evanston at NWU next week. They play bad on the road. Could be interesting. With M meeting NWU in AA, that puts them in the drivers's seat if they beat MSU next week. I'll be there for that game and am looking forward to it.

Yes, I'm biased, but which team in the entire Big has looked the best in the last two weeks? I'm hoping for a little bit of a struggle for the bucks in Bloomington tonight and a less than convincing win. That would be sweet and make the only two teams in the entire BIG that look improved to me NWU and Michigan with M way out in front after two absolute assrailings of teams looking for wins and a place at the table. Forget that.

These two wins, where M has scored just under 100 points while holding opponents to 13, has me thinking of the 30-3 run Schembechler had where his offenses were unstoppable and defenses were kings of the Big Ten. I know, that's not going to happen ever again but these were dominating wins and reminiscent of those teams.

Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

                  • Pretty accurate assessment, Jeff. Wisky looks to have cured whatever was wrong with them, and Purdue definitely was a paper tiger.

Illinois has dropped off the face of the earth and Minnesota probably isn't much better.

MSU is not what they thought they were. Laughable that some pundits had them in the MNC game in the preseason. I can't wait for kickoff next week. I'm looking forward to this game with MSU more than any game since the infamous "clock" game. Its time to punch their lights out.

You are such a deluded young man.

A team actually has to be eligible to truly "win" the division crown and I really don't give a crap about what the stupid Big Ten Front office and Jim Delaney got weasel worked into.

osu is a blackballed, cheating program formerly run by a lying, douch-bag coach. To honor them with anything at all this season is a disgrace to teams that try to play by the rules and act ethically.
