  • Beaver Stadium may have seen it's last full house for a looooong time. And by that I mean several years.

        • Penn State is bad, real bad. They will beat out Indiana to stay out of the basement but that may be it
Its only the tip of the iceberg. Its the beginning of a long sad run at Penn State.

But still, you have to give Ohio some credit. They have a good team. That kid Tettleton is every bit as good as a lot of the fine QB's to come out of the MAC.

Yep. In a way, its going to be sad to see such a large stadium struggling to draw 50K. The die-hards will stay, but when the losses start piling up, and the weather gets bad, those folks aren't going to come out to watch football games.

          • They aren't going to be good for awhile, I didn't think they've recruited very well the last few classes.

Nah, if nothing else the OSU faithful will make the drive and turn it into a homegame.

                  • Ohio might go undefeated. I thought they had a good chance to pull that one off, and there isn't a likely loss on their schedule from here on out. They'll probably drop one or two-- they'll get caught up in a 45-42 MAC-tacular somewhere along the way-- but that's a very good MAC team that beat Penn State today.

                    • Northern Illinois looks like they will give the MAC another win over the B1G. Iowa playing pretty poorly

                      • I wouldn't give up on Iowa yet. It's not as if Northern Illinois is blowing them out of the water, and Iowa has a habit of playing poorly for the first three quarters of an opener, and then stealing the game late.

                        • I wonder if this could be the beginning of the end for Ferentz? They look very mediocre.

                          • I don't know, Jason. They've shown next to nothing all game. And NIU wasn't returning many offensive starters.

                            • Wisconsin is having more trouble that one might expect as well. Huskerz pulling away from Southern Miss though. That'll be a nice win

                              • Man, Iowa just can't get past the Huskies. They settle for yet another FG.

True. And when Michigan comes back on their schedule, I'm sure a lot of M fans will fill Beaver Stadium.
