For anyone who didn't already click on the above link to see the Pro Combat uniforms for IU and Iowa, you're missing some really good stuff! That writer over on Black Heart Gold Pants who calls himself "Horace E Cow" does some really funny spoofs. Here's another one (in which he has a reference to Fielding Yost):

Anyway, I clicked on the link *JD* provided in his above post, saw that it was a spoof, and almost decided to just quickly skin over it. Once I looked at the helmet designs for each team, though, I decided to click on the link at the bottom of each uniform picture (to read the full story) and only then had a chance to enjoy some really funny stuff. Hilarious---especially stuff like the descriptions behind the helmet concepts, the negative "comments" attributed to Iowa players, and the combination cleats/workboots that the Iowa team will be wearing, called Nike SHT KKR's.

Big news for NCAA and more importantly, B10 baseball. Getting a lot more full 'scholarships' for more players would be a huge boon for B10 baseball programs to compete against those programs from the south and pulling the talent out of the south.
