If M is going to be labeled as “cheaters”, at least have the decency to say “clumsy cheaters.” Distinguish them from all of the other top college programs that have broken rules for advantages.
To which yes, M obviously broke a rule with in person scouting. As SEC and Ohio State did by illegally paying players under the table prior to NIL rules changing. As some teams are doing right now with transfer portal tampering. Notre Dame with Sam Hartman and now Riley Leonard.

McCord had 10 possessions and scored 24. Stroud had 13 possessions not counting one at the end of the half and scored 23. And Stroud only put up 3, for some reason, in the 2H. McCord was not only more consistent in scoring points throughout the game, he scored points at a SIGNIFICANTLY higher possession rate (35% higher than Stroud). You may not agree with any of that -- and whatever -- I agree with you on nothing these days, I guess. But that's why I'm saying McCord and OSU were better in 2023 and than Stroud and OSU was in 2022. And against, IMO, a better defense.

I agree. Harbaugh also said that the 2023 Ohio team was the best of the last three.

As you now recognize, this was an excellent Ohio team. Why then the massive sandbagging all season how UM was going to completely dominate Ohio this year? That was always nonsense, and the UM fans here knew it. Some would call that an intentional lie.

Well, The Game is done, over, fini. It won't ever get played again like it has been with conference championships up for grabs more often than not in the last game of the regular B10, CFB season.

M will play OSU ...... some of the time but the rivalry as it was featured and played out since since 1912 will turn into just another game on the conference schedule separating the 20 (?) football B10 conference programs among who will and who will not get into the 12 team CFP.

With the end of the series, its too bad for the Buckeyes. M has more wins in the series than OSU (60 - 51- 6). Both teams have had their runs but M get's the best of OSU to close out the series of The Game winning the last three.

I could care less about McCord > Stroud. OSU lost, M won and their is no getting around that, softening the loss, or complaining that M cheated in manufacturing those three wins, including last Saturday's, with the losers trying to stick an Astros like asterisk by the overall series record between M and OSU.
