Can you tell me the names of coaches who have gone public and support the idea of players being compensated? Honestly, I haven't seen any. Most coaches seem to be putting as much distance between themselves and Harbaugh as they can.

It's the oldest trick in the book to complain about the NCAA when you get caught with your hands in the cookie jar. That criticism doesn't mean much when you want the NCAA to bring the hammer down on other programs. The NCAA has a thankless task in that regard. I never saw a lot of Michigan fans questioning the severity of the punishment for the OSU tattoo scandal. If there were questions, it was.why wasn't it harsher.

I really have a hard time seeing Ohio State not being in a 12-team playoff....like ever. Even if Sherrone Moore pulls a 1996 on OSU next year. So, yeah -- it'll suck that way.

I actually think a 12-team playoff is pretty big benefit for CRD/OSU. I mean -- I think it sucks. I'm with you, Wingy -- mostly. But, I think the reality is it's good for OSU.

Whatever. That's a year away. I've been waiting for 2024 since pretty much September so I'll keep waiting.

The 12 team playoff is better, it will make college football better. More like the NFL. The great thing about the NFL is the team knows what it has to do to get into the playoffs. You don't have a weekly beauty show contest on ESPN like they do for college. Too much of college football is arguing about strength of schedule.

I have always been in the minority here, I don't get why people want CFA to be like every other fucking sport, I don't get it. 2023 Last year of - Every game mattered, rivalry games, regular season showdown all gone for 2-3 weeks of football . The more I think about it I'm done after the next 2 games.

There's no arguing with crazy, and they're fucking insane.

But, the issue is dead until the NCAA drops the hammer. And that's going to happen.

Unfortunately, they're all quitting -- some are leaving, some won't watch any more. Their coach will quit. They know what's coming. But most aren't going to stay in the batter's box.

I'm here. It sucked (though, amazingly, not even top 3 most frustrating CRD loss!). But it still sucked and I'm still here. They won't be.

Hammered? -- I'd expect some combination of a postseason ban, scholarship reductions and/or a show-cause (or two). Time served? Not on the table.

I mean, if you think only minor violations, at most, have been committed and that the NCAA will lose a court battle on first amendment grounds for unfairly targeting JH, then should be time served.
