My policy of deference, cordiality and always being correct is a general one, hack. Every now and again things get saucy in the OSU thread and I have to dispense with the deference and cordiality. I mean, who would have known, e.g., that the Aaron Hernandez thing wouldn't bring down UFM and the OSU program? Just me, I guess. Heh.

I don't know why you keep putting those words in quotes since I never said them. What I've said, repeatedly, is that I enjoy keeping up with M from a M fan's perspective and this forum is, by far, the best -- owing mostly to its numbers. Some exchanges are such, some aren't. The exchanges that are smack-fests are almost always on the OSU thread.
And I was being quite serious. The further reality is that when I don't post tumbleweed blows through this place. I can posit a single, coherent, relevant question and spark 2 pages of conversation that would otherwise take considerably longer to accrue. It's what I do. The word choices are less important than the idea conveyed. We both know what we're talking about. Not sure what you mean by ``its numbers''.
Value, I guess, is in the eye of the beholder. Some people value a circle jerk. Some people value a discussion. Some people don't like to be challenged.Comment

By numbers I mean this forum has small enough participation that there isn't necessarily a standard distribution of fans you'd find on larger forum. So you and Oracle and Buchanan and Hanni and a few others represent the bulk of the M-related posts and are far from the feral, mouth-breather CFB fan you'd typically find on any CFB forum.
