For the record, I'm tired of the usual knee-jerk reaction nonsense every time a TV personality says something controversial, regardless of how outrageous or moronic it may be. But it also cuts both ways. People have the right to say what they please and employers have the right to take action if they feel their business suffers as a result.

I disagree quite a bit with what Phil Robertson said, but yes he is entitled to his free speech. Everyone else is also entitled to free speech, including reactions to incredibly insensitive comments. The right of free speech also includes the responsibility of what you say. Having a right doesn't mean you must abuse it and in fact cheapens that right instead.

Seeing that I am too ignorant to discuss this issue, I won't make any further comments about it.

In addition, I feel it is only right that I suspend myself from making additional comments due to my mental illness, (I'm homophobic..) which has been proven to be a fact by all clear thinking people.
