As you shop this holiday season, please remember to use the forum's Amazon.com link (found at the upper right side of the forum) to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold and the commission increases based on the number of items sold in a month. (So even buying a 99 cent MP3 helps!) Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps pays the operating costs of this forum. Thank you and happy holidays!! --Deborah

We've lost two more contributors here over the past 2 weeks, due to the tone of conversations here. I just received an e-mail from another one this morning.
Do we really wish to continue to drive away our fellow Michigan fans? Are things really so bad that lashing out at each other is the only thing we can do?
I'm not asking for any opinions. This is just information for you all to do with what ever you wish ."The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, .. I'd worn them for weeks, and they needed the air"

People come and go as do internet forums.
There was a good discussion about this kind of thing over at mgoblog although his issues were a little different but how he decided to run things applies. Here are his rules:
- Don't have an avatar. You're less likely to get noticed.
- Don't be a jerk to people who write for the site. Much more difficult that #1, but still doable if you try.
- Don't constantly complain about the people I hire. If you want to send me an email, fine. Publicly crapping on the other guys who write for us is filed under jerk.
- Don't get mad at me for having a particular emotional state. This happened constantly throughout the season, as if the internet tough guys who were taking the bullets the season threw at them could somehow improve my mood by berating me.
I don't really give a crap about who shows up or who leaves. I happen to like the notion of freedom of speech and choice and the reality that this is a f'ing internet sports forum - take off the hurt bag, there are tools to use if you don't like the tone of someone's post.
For sure, you are not impressing me if you send an email complaining about Stan, talent or DSL, or anyone here for that matter. The world will always have ass-holes who can't police themselves well, drink too much and then post on the internet or have problems with their frontal lobes and can't inhibit .... there are drugs for this. Like I said, you're free to turn us off and not participate any time you like.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.
