The % of men that are only as faithful as their options has to be really high. How many public or powerful men do we hear theses days that let these women (who are basically prostitutes) bring them down. Though in this case unless more negative information comes out, I think Petrino's job is safe, he has the Hogs a top 10 team now.Comment

Mike, the real ticking bomb here isn't banging the 25 year old. 1. When you are a public figure and the face of an organization, morality expectations are going to be a lot more stringent of you than they will be the account that works in the financial aid department. His actions are understood to represent both the football program and the university itself and the involvement in a public scandal like this can have an adverse affect on the recruitment of both football players and other students to the university. So not only does his actions put the university in a negative light, they also can hurt it financially.
2. The person with whom he is allegedly having the affair with works under him (pun not intended), and that is inappropriate behavior in the workplace. Even if everything goes "okay" in their relationship, be it in perception or reality it causes an unfair working environment for the other employees, and if their relationship does go sideways, the university could have a sexual harassment issue on their hands. Plus, the fact that he was the one who hired her in the first calls into question the financial decisions he is making with university funds. (It?s funny how all roads tend to lead back to money.)
