  • Man, Jarett Lee must be buried in Miles doghouse because Jefferson is pathetic.

    • That's the worst option execution I've ever seen...and I am including Ron Powlus under Holtz.

Doesn't help that the QB is playing scared.

whoDean's is not a solid way to measure the quality of a defense, but it also wasn't hard to find another example of a team or a unit that sends a lot of players to the pros. I'm sure there's plenty of others too. And I bet that unlike this pair of teams this year, many of them played big games against QBs that could complete a forward pass.

          • OK, so they're gonna play next week in Dallas for the title, right?

            • Saban is such an ass. Up 21 with 3 minutes left, his team commits their first penalty of the night and he rips into the kid who was offsides.

Really coach? You get your first penalty in the final 3 minutes when the other team has already surrendered and you have to chew him out? Can't you ever just enjoy anything?

                • I don't see anything wrong with that. Coaches coach. Larry Brown was still coaching in the 03/04 finals into the final minutes but that series had been over since Game 3.

Wow did Carr ever squander a ton of talent.

                              • As far as I'm concerned, there is no national champion. There are several teams that can make a case to be the mythical champion, but no team that stands above the others.
