I didn't say there was, since the AP pulled out of the BCS it isn't really relevant, before that it was.

    • The AP pulled out of the BCS largely because they had enough of their poll being tied together to the computer polls that contribute to the BCS. At least, that's the story they gave.

      • Oh right, read it wrong Whodean, I should not be posting hungover, but I really want to see who Michigan is going to play.

          No problem, hangovers suck.

              • VT is good, but clearly not unbeatable. Clemson has given us a template to follow.

                • I wonder if JRB will travel and I wonder who he'll be rooting for?

My second oldest daughter of 3 is a PHD candidate in VaTech's Bio-medical Engineering program. I already know who she'll be rooting for. She learned Hail to the Victors on the Piano when she was 3.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

                  • LOL Jeff,

I have twin 3 year old boys, and both can sing Hail to the Victors with me now during games.

No doubt where their loyalties are.

                    • My brother has already called to start talking trash. We may have to go. The Sugar Bowl is the most fun bowl trip I've made, and VT fans love New Orleans, so a lot of VT people are going.

                          • That's been coming all year. With the welfare fraud case that program was dealing with before the season, Fresno was going to have to put up a very good season for Hill to save his job.

                              from the tigger board...

This idea that the B12 helped us secure this bowl
is frankly insulting to our intelligence. **** them every way possible and good riddance. Why our AD is even telling this story is beyond me. We owe the B12 nothing and there is no point in not burning every bridge between here and Dallas. You can say that the B12 has no input for bowl selection until you are blue in the face and you would still be living in a fantasy world. I say take this as proof that the B12 deserted us and say screw your exit fees, sue us, you kicked us out.

                              and...

Holiday Bowl - $4.3 million (we beat texas)
Yeah, texas had NO influence on this pick...

Pinstripe Bowl - $3.6 million (we beat Iowa State)
                              seriously? Iowa State over us?

Texas Bowl - $3.4 million (we beat texas A&M)
I can see this one, texas bowl to a texas team.

                              Independence Bowl - $2.3 million

I say we reduce any exit fee by the 2 mil we got screwed out of by the Bevo12 and let 'em sue for it. It be a symbolic "up your's" and I'd love to see what improprieties we could unearth if it did go to some sort of investigation.

As a reader notes: LarryFedora voted VaTech #9 & Clemson #22... The Tigers blasted VT by a combined score of 61-13 this yr.

Les Miles, the former Michigan OL, had Wolverines #8 & MichSt #16; Art Briles had WISC #16; Jon Embree left Baylor off his ballot.
