I don't think that you'd see great support for it anywhere if you can't fill the stadium in Indianapolis. If this were in my hometown and I were on the fence about it, having to sit outside in windy 30 degree weather would make it next to impossible for me to attend unless my team was in it.Comment

Maybe we shouldn't be too surprised that Moo fans aren't traveling to this one a bit better. What was it, two years ago when Florida Atlantic came to Ford Field as the "home" team, and Sparty fans didn't fill it either? I mean, Ford Field holds less than 70K. I understand wanting to make the game a neutral site, but this is the problem with doing so. The basketball tournament works in Indy as Indiana is a HUGE basketball state. Football? Not so much.Comment

well, researching this more.. seems like MSU had enough demand to sell their allotment. Wisky had to put theirs on sale to the general public...
