    • How do you get blown out by North Dakota State in any sport that isn't hockey?

BTW Minnesota's coach had a 2nd seizure and I believe is no longer coaching the team.

      • I'd like to see Michigan put a beatdown on a Big Ten opponent. When the hell is the last time that happened? RR's only comfortable win was at Minny in 2008. It's been a while.

        • Here's the story on Jerry Kill. He's readmitting himself to the hospital following another seizure incident on Sunday morning.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) -- Texas A&M is set to join Southeastern Conference, the league said Sunday, apparently signaling that legal hurdles have been cleared for the Aggies to leave the Big 12.

                  • Average Big Ten conference game score during RRod's tenure:

                    Us: 25
                    Them: 35

                    Ouch.

Nice posturing, but there is nothing you can do after the fact. They reviewed it, and said it was good. Just because the replay officials f'ed up doesn't mean you can get the win vacated.

You have no idea how the game would have gone if the call had been made correctly in the first place.

                        • I think Toledo should be given the win.

They came downfield and kicked the winning field goal.

That's exactly the course of action they would have taken had they only been behind by 2.

                          • The only way to change this outcome would be for Syracuse to do the old-fashioned, gentlemanly thing and forfeit the game. There is precedent for that in college football-- Cornell forfeited the famous "Fifth Down" game in 1940 to Dartmouth after they viewed the game film and realized they'd scored the game-winning touchdown on a down they shouldn't have been allowed. Of course, much the same thing happened in the Colorado-Missouri game in 1990, and Colorado refused to forfeit, since they were in the hunt for the national title. It would be refreshing to see a major program espouse the principles of sportsmanship over a win to that degree, but it's almost certainly not going to happen, and I don't think I can blame Syracuse at all. The game continued on into an overtime period where Toledo could have won it, so it'd be tough to ask Syracuse players to accept that they lost.

                            • Toledo won it in regulation.

They shouldn't have been required to win it twice.

                              • I wouldn't expect Syracuse to forfeit. They are probably in a position where they need that sixth win.
