Yeah, that is a bit of a head-scratcher. Seems to me if you're going to get busted for scalping, make it for something good ...

Screw Emmert ...... he has a giant problem on his hands. This is the typical response of organizations that think they are too big and too important to have anything go wrong. Stick your head in the sand dude.

He's right ..... most schools don't have problems. The ones that do are the ones at the upper levels of revenues generated by the big market sports and have wealthy alumni bases filled with fanatical football and basketball fans.

But that is where the money and the problems are. The NCAA has to act to stop it by drawing a line in the sand and saying don't cross it or you're not going to swim in this pool. That goes for players and coaches/administrators. When you let programs skate (potentially both Auburn and osu), when you let players like Cam Newton and the tat5 think they can get away with taking money under the table with Little to know accountability for breaking the rules, you encourage more short cuts and out-right cheating.

I'm even more obstinate. Either obey the rules, or disband the NCAA and let everyone go at it unabated by rules.
