CFB has successfully transitioned from rewarding regular season excellence into crowning the best playoff team...just like the NFL...I'm not criticizing this I'm just saying that we have created a mini March Madness (January Madness?) for football. It is possible and maybe even likely that 2 and 3 loss teams will win national titles on a regular basis...like I said...NFL like...my only criticism really is they need to get rid of the ridiculous seeding format...and maybe go to 16 teams so there are no byes...

I already know that I'm not the first to criticize Skinhead Franklin. Most of the vitriol that I send his way is due to his being the chief crybaby when it came to B1G coaches who bellyached to Tony Titties about the pre-emptive punishment of Harbaugh for "cheating". He and a few other of his gang of bellyachers live in glass houses.

So, I don't like Franklin. I don't care if I'm the first, second or 9,093,217th person who has 'observed' anything about James Franklin. He's a dick, and he sucks at coaching when it comes to big games. He can't beat ohio state to save his life. He's not so hot against Michigan either.

Also while I'm bitching about CFB...they need to standardize a 9 game conference schedule for all conferences...and standardize officiating...get a head of officials for the FBS...you can have associates for each conference but let crews roam for all conferences...reward the best crews with the best and most challenging games...which is also more NFL-like. The difference in conference officiating competency is staggering...
