James Franklin once again leaves Penn State fans disappointed. No coach in recent history has had so much talent that ended up being wasted. He has NOTHING to show for all the talent that has went thru there during his tenure. He can't beat Ohio State, and he's not exactly perfect against Michigan. He got whacked by Oregon. He's relegated to little brother status.
I can't stand ND, but I'm okay with them winning this game tonight. Franklin is a penis-head. The bad news for PSU fans is that this "playoff run" probably bought him a couple more years.
So now, its OSU and Texas to center stage. Texas is very good, but if OSU brings their "A" game like they have the last two games, they'll beat the Horns.

Getting to a CFP semifinal is still pretty good. We all get a laugh out of Franklin but he has them on a good level even if he hasn't won a national championship. That program was on shaky ground when he took over. He has not drawn a 4 year show cause, so he has that going for him.
In some ways, it's like PSU was for Paterno after the first year in the Big Ten.
