Tennessee at Ohio State would be entertaining.
So that projection has Georgia knocking off Texas in the SEC championship game… interesting… I was thinking Notre Dame has the coveted #5 seed on lock, but that’s not the case. Oregon or Texas could be upset in the conference championship game and cause some chaos with seeding.
Clemson is so lucky that Honda McCord bailed them out by lighting up Miami (FL). If Clemson defeats SMU, that acts as a lifeline for their playoff chances.
Also, I might be down for South Carolina making it. Why not. The bubble area is weak and they’re on fire.

The most chaotic result might be Clemson defeating SMU in a thriller. Then it would be SMU vs Bama… when this playoff committee indicated a conference championship shouldn’t negatively affect a résumé’. I don’t believe that.
Arizona State all over Iowa State at this moment. Was hoping for the game to be a competitive ballgame, but not looking good so far. Iowa State looks like a bunch of munchkins or Oompa Loompas out there. Especially with that 3-3-5 defense getting mauled.
