While Texas did lose, that overturned penalty was an interesting situation. Texas was called for DPI or holding on a big INT and it was egregiously wrong. The refs changed the call 15-20 minutes after the play due to the delay. Never see that happen, but picking up the flag was the right thing to do. Sure it would have been more controversial if Texas won the game. Refs could have just gave Georgia a bad call in their favor and NOT change it….

If IU is 11-1 and their only loss is to Ohio State, curious if that gets them in the CFP. Indiana football in the playoff sounds funny to think about…

They don’t play Oregon in the regular season. Wouldn’t it possible that IU is 11-1 and doesn’t play in the B1G championship game? Their remaining schedule is manageable even with the big game at Columbus.

TCU played in the national championship game 21 months ago. I shouldn’t act weirded out about the idea of IU doing this. College football is a goofy sport nowadays.

I'm basing my IU pick on them not being in the Big Ten CG. Oregon will win out and OSU will have beaten Indiana head to head. They'll be 11-1 and I don't know how you keep a one loss team out of a 12 team playoff.

The new Big 12 is difficult to figure out too. A couple undefeated teams and it’s possible that one loss K-State is the best team in that conference. No idea how that will play out.

I’m glad that CFP discussion is still fun to think about despite the change. Discussions will only pick up during the next month. It’s the Wild West when it comes to teams that can make it.

our one loss is BYU who beat our ass and beat everyone elses ass. granted they were lucky on their basicly 2 play 70 yard drive against OSU two great plays bytBYU in the last 20 seconds to win the game. I dont see anybody except maybe utah stopping them from being 12-0
