Speaking of Iowa, here's the latest on Brian Ferentz watch through 7 games:
20.9 ppg (#113 in FBS)
247.7 ppg (dead last in FBS, #130)
Passing offense, 116.6 ypg (#128, only Navy and Air Force are lower)
McNamara is still their leading passer and All is their leading receiver. Both are now out for the season.
Record: 6-1. LOL
Here's the rest of their schedule. My god, they're going to win the West.
10/21 Minnesota
11/4 @ NW
11/11 Rutgers
11/18 Illinois
11/24 @ Nebraska
There are currently only 2 teams with a winning record in the West: Iowa and Wisconsin and the Hawkeyes just beat them head-to-head. If they simply finish 3-2 against that schedule, Wisconsin would have to go 5-1 in their last 6 games to edge out Iowa. The other 5 teams in the division all have 1 conference win and aren't in any danger of getting in the race.
Wisconsin's remaining schedule:
10/21 @ Illinois
10/28 OSU
11/4 @ Indiana
11/11 NW
11/18 Nebraska
11/25 @ Minnesota
Assuming they lose to OSU, they'll need to win the other 5 games and get help.
