This is pretty irrelevant but has anyone seen an explanation as to how the tiebreaker sent Utah to play USC instead of Washington? Has to be common opponents or something.

Yeah toughest schedule apparently.
USC vs Washington would have been highly entertaining… especially with Penix Jr. playing incredibly well.
USC vs Utah 2.0 will still be great. Again, the first matchup in Utah was a top 5 entertaining games of the year quality game IMO. Cam Rising can ball. There will be A LOT of offense.

Saban can pull out all of the SEC mindtricks that you can imagine, but even that won't sell against an 11-1 team whose only loss was to another team in the CFB bracket.
This might be the one and only time that we should root for USC,

I think it's entirely justified to include TomW in the STFU game, though I think it's absolutely ludicrous to liken it to chess. It is, at best, chutes and ladders. And, FTR, I'm about send Dr. Strangetwat straight down a chute with a hearty:
STFU!!!!Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

If so, then Knowles was doing it without these two. They're really pesky defenders that have actually stopped more C&L turns than I'll ever admit to. IMG_3746.jpg

Didn’t see it posted anywhere, but Cade McNamara officially entered the transfer portal. He’s a college football free agent for one more season. As I mentioned before, hope he transfer portals over to Purdue as an Aidan O’Connell replacement in 2023.
Best of luck to McNamara. I appreciate what he helped accomplish in 2021 and wish him the best.

Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.
