  • Maybe not, but it was an okay game. Buffalo owned the 1st half and Central won the second half on the way to a 4-point come-from-behind win.

    • BTW, My excursion to Conway SC last week was fun. The game turned out as I expected. Coastal beat App outright and the over was achieved. There was a good crowd of about 21000, a record for Coast Carolina. I would venture to guess that if you took the students out of the total, there were as many App State fans as Coastal Carolina fans.App State really travels well.

We made the mistake of coming into the stadium through the Coastal student section. We were greeted with a pretty constant chant of "Fuck App State" My wife was upset. I thought it was pretty funny as I never felt threatened. The student section kept it up throughout the game. I told my wife they were chanting "Block that kick" She didn't appreciate the humor

All in all it was a good time. App State made a late run and was a 3rd and long away from getting the ball back with about a minute and a half left and a chance to score and tie or win the game. Coastal went over the top and Grayson McCall threw a perfect pass for a gain of about 30 to ice the game.

CMU got micro-officiated on that TD pass to the TE. Fortunately that bonehead decision didn't cost them the game.

            • I've never heard of micro-officiated from anybody else. But it apparently happens to all of lineygoblue's teams.

                  • Surprising defensive fest with TCU vs Texas so far.

Texas offense shaky as Quinn Ewers remains an enigma. TCU offense struggling as Gary Patterson’s Texas defense is playing incredibly well.

Rooting for TCU to win out because they’re a beatable opponent if M makes the playoff.

                    • Good point. If we win out, we’ll be the 2 seed like last year. An undefeated TCU would likely be the 3 with the PAC 12 champ or Tennessee as the 4.

                      • You will lose to OSU...and be a 4 seed to UGA...and get your arses kicked...again...and I would have actually pulled for M...if not for your coach being a complete and utter douchebag...

                          Yup.

That’s probably the combination of best case and most realistic scenario for us M fans.
                          1. Georgia
                          2. M
                          3. TCU
                          4. Tennessee
Georgia and Tennessee probably win out. It’s going to be difficult for TCU to win out, but maybe they do. M in the toss up game vs OSU. The playoff committee can’t move Tennessee ahead of undefeated TCU because of the remaining schedule. TCU would add 2 or 3 quality wins to their resume.

The OSU v Michigan game is being viewed as an 'elimination' game. The loser is out of the playoffs. At least that's what's being said. To me, that means that Tennessee should be eliminated as well, because they've lost to Georgia, in the same situation. (same conference same division) But, early losses are forgiven. Late losses are not.

No way Michigan gets in with a loss at OSU and they shouldn’t. That’s a national QF game. Tennessee has wins over SEC West champ LSU on the road and Alabama. Two really good top 10 wins and they’ve had dominant performances with their only loss being at the #1 team in the country. The only question is whether they’ll be the 3 or 4 seed.

TCU has Baylor and Iowa State left and then, presumably, KSU in the B12 title game. They ain’t losing and they’ll be in. Then you have the possibility of a 12-1 USC. The field is just too crowded for an 11-1 Michigan team with a solitary quality win.

Re OSU: Win and you’re in. Lose and you’re out.

                              • Mike is correct.

Georgia and Tennessee are in. OSU/M winner is in. TCU controls its own destiny. Clemson is a longshot. P12 champ is a longshot.
