Michigan's defense hasn't been that bad, but the baseline for winning a title is you need the ability to win a shootout. You have to go into a CFP game expecting that you can match scores.

Even though UAT kicked Georgia’s ass — even more than M did to OSU — I think Georgia wins the rematch. I think they’re better. Pure and simple.

GA was the most dominant and best team in the country all year. Losing to Bama didn't change that.

But UAT just isn’t as dynamic on offense as they need to be to win with their defense.

That said, UAT does play the run well and pressures the QB. But their secondary is meh. Whether Georgia makes more hay with that is a question. Mostly I think UAT won’t move ball nearly as well.
