If MSU keeps doing this, they'll have to stop throwing shade at Michigan for being the "rich" school.
    Big time move for Sparty!
M needs to stop slacking and enter the arms race. NIL deals, better football facility, etc… For example, I’m still convinced that f***ing Kentucky has better facilities than M.

    • Bold move. Maybe Skyline Chili will up the ante and keep Fickell in Cinci now.

      • Very smart move by them. Disappointing as hell that they are hanging onto the guy. Chalk up another automatic annual "L" for Harbaugh. I'm guessing that Tejas or the like can match, but it's going to be painful.

        • Tucker now makes way more than Harbaugh. Who says meritocracy is dead? LOL

It would be nice if they would do that until Harbaugh gets fired.

            • Hopefully if this becomes official, it will put down these vicious rumors that he is leaving being peddled by rivals.

              • What's really cool about that picture of Mel is that he's wearing one of those heated jackets. I need one of those for my next trip to Michigan.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

I don't think Luke Fickell can channel Bo Schemechler, so he is off limits. Desmond is probably available.

                    • If EMU can beat Central next week (or win a bowl game) they'll reach 8 wins for the first time since 1987. Incidentally it's possible every single team in the MAC West ends up bowl eligible (the East is pretty horrific)

                        Wow. MSU is fucking delusional.

                        Shut the fuck up Donny!

                          Oklahoma State (9-1)
                          Baylor (8-2)
                          Kansas State (7-3)
                          Texas Tech (6-4)
                          Iowa State (6-4)

                          Texas (4-6)
                          West Virginia (4-6)
                          TCU (4-6)

                          Kansas (2-8)

Among the bubble teams, Texas and WVU play this wekend so one is being eliminated. If WVU wins they finish with the worst team in the league, Kansas.

                            Boston College (6-4)

                            North Carolina (5-5)
                            Miami (5-5)
                            Virginia Tech (5-5)
                            Louisville (5-5)
                            Syracuse (5-5)
                            Florida State (4-6)

                            Georgia Tech (3-7)
                            Duke (3-7)

The ACC has a whole mess of mediocre teams this year. Virginia Tech has possibly the least favorable remaining schedule of the bubble teams, forced to play Miami & Virginia on the road. Miami and UNC are almost certain to win at least once more. Florida State must beat both BC and Florida on the road. Neither of those two is very good but then again, neither are the Noles.

                              Arizona State (7-3)
                              UCLA (6-4)
                              Oregon State (6-4)

                              Cal (3-6)

                              Stanford (3-7)
                              Colorado (3-7)
                              Arizona (1-9)

Realistically there's close to no chance Cal sweeps UCLA, Stanford, and a USC makeup game. Washington State plays Arizona at home Friday and could knock out their hated rivals the week after.

                              • Good God, that is an awful look at the rest of the CFB conferences outside the SEC and Big. Let's stop the nonsense of pretending there are 135 FBS teams that actually can compete for post season play in the current bowl landscape. It's absurd.
