I didn't understand the rationale on why they changed the schedule last year. All.I know is they make sure to show Kevin Warren at every game.

Well I'm guessing there will be a "Big 64" with 4 Super Conferences of 16...then a second 64 of G5's and the FCS powers. Then a Division II and III.

Yeah, I think that, or something very similar will eventually end up happening. 64 seems to be the magic number. The basketball tournaments take 67 teams each year, so I think that's probably the direction that football will go. I'd be in favor of seeing the major schools leave the NCAA as well. The NCAA is totally useless as an organization.

In football without a doubt. I think maybe even in hoops you could see a break. I think in other sports it's ok. But wrt football all they do is get in the way.

Yeah, I should have added that. They're good with the minor sports, and someone has to regulate them, but they need to get out of the way with major college football.

Pelini was an asshole and kind of a dummy but he wasn't outright bad either. It's interesting to speculate what might have happened to Nebraska had they kept Solich another decade. Maybe they avoid some losing seasons under Callahan but 10-3/9-3 was probably always going to be the ceiling.
