Much better week of college football games outside of not having any watchable Thursday and Friday night games.
College Football Week 9 (What to Watch)
Thursday:
- Nothing relevant.
Friday:
- Nothing relevant.
Saturday:
Noon Slot
- #6 M at 8 MSU. Game of the week, duh.
- #9 Iowa at Wisconsin. Doubtful that any other noon game is worth remote switching, but worth it to be aware about this game because the winner could win the B10 West.
- Texas at #16 Baylor. Texas could knock off a ranked team here.
- Miami (FL) at #17 Pitt. Kenny Pickett. Pitt ACC champs?
3 to 4pm Slot
- #1 Georgia vs Florida. The game to watch unless there's a blowout. I have seen crazier things in sports than the idea of Florida upsetting Georgia here. Doubt it, but have seen crazier.
- Purdue at Nebraska. Should be a close, fun, game on ESPN2 if Georgia vs Florida is a blowout.
7 to 7:30pm Slot
- #20 Penn State at #5 Ohio State. Penn State has the roster talent to make things interesting, but it seems like James Franklin is checked out and focused on LSU/ USC. Ohio State probably wins big.
- #10 Ole Miss at #18 Auburn. More likely to be a close/ good game if Penn State vs Ohio State is a blowout.
- North Carolina at #11 Notre Dame. Can Sam Howell upset #11 ND... that's the question. Could be a good game.
10 to 10:30pm Slot
- UCLA at Utah. Quality PAC 12 late game.
- Virginia at #25 BYU. Watchable game. I'd guess this is Bronco Mendanhall's first game against his former BYU team.
- Fresno State at #21 San Diego State. Brady Hoke's dream season could be in trouble because Fresno State is a tough opponent.
