I like M's D v. Alabama...... and don't give me that M hasn't played any good offenses since ND and they lost that one.

I'd have to agree with that statement if M hadn't absolutely throttled every BT team it has faced. Were not talking keeping them off the scoreboard either. We're talking dominating every important defensive statistic out there in each of those games. Don Brown is King of DCs and he's got the talent to wear that crown.

Still, I'm not sure there is any CFB team out there that can deal with Bama's OL. Here's UAT's injury report (http://www.donbest.com/ncaaf/injuries/). Do you see any OL on there? No? That's why that unit is a problem for any defense including M's.

If Alabama played M this Saturday, assuming Tua and Harris have some kind of limiting injuries, I still think M loses something like 20-14. With Tua and Harris healthy, M gets railed. That's because, M isn't going to get the kind of pressure on Tua through Bama's OL that Brown has relied on for it's stifling pass D against much lesser OLs and BT iffy QBs. While Long, Watson and HIll are good, Alabama's receivers are all going to get drafted, a couple in the early rounds. Between Tua's arm and those receivers v. Brown's back end defense, Bama is going to score points .... plenty enough to win behind a defense that is going to harass and confuse Patterson all day.

Exposed may be the wrong word. It's just whole another ball game when you're dealing with 1st round NFL talent all over the field as opposed to, say, the offenses of Hornibrook and Lewerke.
