Army gets to the 30. Loses 4 yards on 2 plays and then throws an interception. OU will probably win. Army has TOP advantage of 45 to 13 and has run 82 plays to 30.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

Trevor Lawrence is the new starter for Clemson. That's a shame. Bryant was limited in much the same way JTB was. Clemson's schedule is horrifically awful, so they can basically spend 6-7 games breaking him and getting him ready for the CFP.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

This in an interesting article as it relates to the perception that M has a "difficult time with mobile QBs."
Lately, there's a decent argument that that perception isn't valid anymore and most of that has to do with the deployment of man-child and speed demon LB/Viper Devin Bush - the guy has the speed to cover sideline to sideline, the football instincts to do that effectively as well as be disruptive, creating chaos in the opponent's back field.
But what about ND's Winbush - v. M in the opener? He had some critical third down conversions scrambling or running a planned QB draw v. Don Brown's aggressive defense. This article explains why the QB draw is so effective against defenses like Brown's at M and many other teams that use the same defensive principles v. spready offenses.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

The HBO series "Ballers" staring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has an Ohio State storyline now. Bad Buckeye booster and power broker who controls the area police. Some actor playing a Buckeye asst (or AD?) mentioning Urban's name who you infer to be dirty too. The Rock character also mentioned how upset Saban was that he didn't get the blue-chipper that The Rock is trying to get to USC in exchange for a quid pro quo deal where his company gets the rights for the Pac-12 Network.
I am okay with them dragging Ohio State into this fiction. They better keep Lord Saban outta it, though."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln
