Why was there not a similar uproar when Schiano was hired at osu? Will Schiano now be effectively shut out from any more college head coaching jobs? I was glad that he was leaving because he's been doing extremely well as a recruiter for osu.I'll let you ban hate speech when you let me define hate speech.

First, he was hired a coordinator and not HC. Second, the "sworn testimony" was unsealed after he was hired. Third, the current political moment lends currency to this horseshit. Fourth, OSU was happy with him as DC.
The last point is the only one that really matters. Ohio State was and is happy with Schiano as DC. The Vals think they can do better so they absolutely smeared him.

I don't doubt that Schiano knew what was going on. If we're to believe that Paterno knew, than it follows that the assistants would know as well. Lots of people knew; no one came forward. I do believe; however, that Tennessee fans are fabricating their outrage as a device to keep what they believe is a substandard coach away from their hallowed environs.
