Wow now 31 - 0. Houston really putting it on over Louisville. I don't event think Lamar Jackson can stage this comeback, but I still think he leads for the Heisman. One bad game won't knock him out.

        • This team beat Florida State by 43 points, and is now getting crushed by a Houston team that got thumped by SMU. And really...its not that surprising. That's our expectations now.

College football is messed up. The NCAA has legislated this once-great game into a Magic Eightball of parity, pansyiness and finesse.

Worse, its championship is now determined by a playoff that is supposed to identify the "best teams" when goatfuck contradictions like noted above are commonplace. We needed a playoff in 1997...we might as well draw the national champ out of hat now. Or at least draw the victim for the final matchup with Alabama out of one anyway.

            • We didn't need a playoff in '97.

It should have been a sign when Houston couldn't move the ball at all in the 3rd and Louisville only scored 10 points that this was already over.

                    • Louisville's playoff hopes are done. That asswhipping of FSU isn't enough to save their schedule. They played 3 quality teams and went 1-2.

                      • Wonder what it says about Clemson, too. Looks to me like the weakest schedule of any current playoff contender.

                        • Clemson has some decent-to-good wins but far too many 'close' games for my liking. Troy though is looking like a quality win.

                            • Can we call the game on account of weather and make it a 7-0 final?

                              • Or call it now and end in a tie.
