Please support the Forum by using the Amazon Link this Holiday Season
Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.
Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.
If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!
Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.
Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

I still think in 5 yrs the BIG12 is as it is today. Texas will be the only team capable of moving at will.
Agree on the B12s membership. There are no good options to add, and of the programs that want to leave, those who could do so have already. It is frozen as-is by circumstance, greed, and despair.

What this says to me is that the kids like the pizzazz and don't think much about (a) Maryland's crazy-ass motif and (b) tradition. Alums, like me and probably a lot of them, love the football tradition they came up with and hate the kind of change that Nike/Oregon brought to CFB with their out there unis that started a craze a while back.
Kids love it.
I guess I need to get with the program. I could be OK with some change that preserved, in a retro sort of way, M's unis. Like Chevrolet does with the Corvette and Ford did with the Mustang (a really good job) and the Thunderbird (terrible job).
Cadillac has had the same grill emblem since the car was first built under that name in 1902. So has Mercedes. I think some talented artist could come up with something flashy and new with the Michigan helmet that preserved in some retro way the wings.
Time for a change.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

These people are disgusting. And to think, this is a Baptist university to boot. Better people than the rest of us Phillistines and all that.
Waiting for the NCAA is step in here, with sanctions...any minute now.

They are a Texas school, after all.
SMU had to commit suicide before the NCAA did anything."The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, .. I'd worn them for weeks, and they needed the air"
