I remember when Alabama played like hot garbage at home and lost to LSU then didn't win their division and was awarded a rematch in a 2-team playoff system.

If Harbaugh had shit the bed on offense, yes, I'd hold him accountble for two failures but he didn't. He has done about all that could be expected with the offense and his play calling was pretty good yesterday. He also produced a near NFL ready QB in Jake Rudock.
The point is that I suspect JH was pretty busy with the O versus osu's D and he succeeded, in large measure, in doing innovative things with the players he had to work with.

He did nothing with what he had except put them in the same scheme that he's run all year, getting ass raped by two other teams that ran similar offenses to osu and one, minus a much bigger QB threat than osu, that runs an almost identical run game...... and, it appears, learned nothing from those two near losses.
He's the scalp that deserves to be taken in this. I don't think I'd feel that way if there had been some semblance or appearance of an effort to adjust to what osu was doing both in pre and in-game planning/adjustments. There was none ..... his hapless effort on that side of the ball reminded me of Hokeorges' mindless play calling and wastefulness of the talent they had available.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. There aren't that many really good head coaches out there, how does USC, Georgia, Miami, VT, Virginia, Missouri, Maryland, South Carolina, Illinois, Syracuse, etc. land quality coaches?Comment

Not surprised Richt is gone for UGA. He is beloved here but he's been coaching the 4th or 5th best team in the SEC for a long, long time. He was on life support this year and they pulled the plug today.
Also not surprised LSU kept Miles. Those rumors were some of the most stupid ones I've heard in CFB in a long time. I do think he was probably given a time table though and some "recommendations" on what he needs to do to beat Alabama in 2015. He needs to dump OC Cam Cameron (a Lloyd prot?g?) and get himself a decent QB and QB coach.
I like a fired former Eagles coach, Chip Kelley, for the USC job.
