  • I'm not really worried about IU at all.
All of their wins were close to inferior opponents. They did give OSU a fight, but we have seen how poor Cardale Jones is (the QB vs IU).
It could be like 2006 Michigan at IU, but with IU scoring 10-14 points. Terrible IU defense. If Sudfeld gets injured, Michigan won't allow a point to Diamont.
    Michigan 45, IU 13.

PSU? They have me worried more.

      • Derrick Henry supplied the offense for the Crimson Tide, carrying the ball a whopping 38 times for 210 yards and three touchdowns, while Alabama's front seven stifled Leonard Fournette, holding the nation's leading rusher to just 31 yards. Heisman effort.

        • About time MSU got what they deserved. They could have as many as 5 losses right now, without all the breaks going their way. Their luck finally ran out.

Mich v Indiana is Mich v Minny Act II. Definite trap game, Hoosiers have played a lot of good teams very tough.

Iowa is still undefeated but a paper tiger. Not one legitimate victory against a tough opponent on their record. They'll be exposed in the CCG against whomever comes out of the East.

LSU looked impotent against Bama. Thought they were better than that. Fournette may have lost out on the Heisman tonight.

Congrats to the Huskers. They deserve to have one of those go their way.

How about the Navy Midshipmen? They go into Memphis and throttle the Tigers. Another paper tiger bites the dust, (pun intended)

          • Navy +11 was the lock of the week.

Iowa is way better than people give them credit for. I was wrong about them. They'll give whoever they play in the B1G championship game all they want.

Yes, have to say so.... Can't blame Dantonio for celebrating prematurely (he jumped off my TV) on the dropped INT before the winner next play.

              • You could argue the touchdown play either way IMO. I felt that Reilly was forced out...the DB fell down when Brandon hit the brakes, as evidence of how hard he was pushing on Reilly.

That aside, we'd beaten them on the play before if their CB hadn't blatantly grabbed Zo Moore's left arm and held it down...which the backjudge was looking right at an didn't call. At worst it should have been 1st and 10 at the 15 yardline.

                • I think you're giving your team a little bit too much credit, but that ok. ESPN loves showing the percentage of the team that will win the game near the end, I would like to see what the percentages of Nebraska going 91 yards with no time outs with less than a minute left.

After thinking Michigan State got jobbed by the officials watching it live, after further review..... (long wait) watching it several times - I agree, Riley was forced out by the db's angle, though he was looking at the qb. The only way for him to stay in bounds he would have had to push the defensive back in the back which would have been offensive pass interference.

                      • Also, this loss obviously make it more difficult for Sparty to make the CFP, but it doesn't really change much re the B10. If they win out, they win the East. And that would include wins at OSU and against a potentially top 10 Iowa, so who knows?

Once they beat M, their season boiled down to a single game. They had a loss to give. I guess now that they've given it, they can't give another, but I don't see that with their schedule (OSU excluded).

                            • I like osu's quarters defense v. Conner Cook and Burbridge. That's the match-up.

You take that pair out of the game and osu wins going away. MSU has no run game and a suspect D. Ezi and JTB will have big games on the ground and I like Braxton in his featured roles.

Cook's the wild card in this one.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.
