For sure, Fournette will be up there for the Heisman. People shouldn't forget how great the LSU offensive line is too. I'm a big believer that the o-line makes a RB good, not usually the other way around (unless you are Barry Sanders, or other rare examples).
For example: I believed any RB can be as good a DeMarco Murray running behind that line, not that Murray was that important to Dallas.
Or another example: If I was a NFL GM, I'd draft o-linemen in the 1st Round almost every year (like Dallas). There is so much value to that position because they effect every play.
But yea, Fournette is simple a great, powerful RB running behind a great o-line.
LSU will be climbing up the poll, no question about that.
Based on their schedule, they don't have a game they could lose until Alabama.
LSU will unquestionable be top 4 by then.
Great runs with huge holes at the same time.

Utah picks off a pass and scores on a half-back pass the following play. 41-13 early 3rd quarter at Autzen. They are CLOWNING Oregon. You could argue that it makes our loss look better (and it does but I don't really care about that). The most significant aspect is that it really shows that Oregon is in a rebuilding year and is probably an 8-4 football team (at best). They were ranked #7 going into East Lansing based on reputation alone and Sparty is ranked #2 because of recent success. Does anyone actually believe that the 2015 Spartans are better than the 2013 or 2014 squads? I sure don't. We're starting to get things sorted out.

This is year 3 post Chip Kelly.
Oregon relied on Mariota (Chip Kelly's guy), continuity with their system, and good recruiting classes (the starters mostly from Chip Kelly's classes) for Helfrich's first two seasons.
It only makes sense that Oregon would trend down eventually because of worse recruiting classes and a down grade at coach.
The PAC12 is also a deeper conference right now. Oregon might have a 7-5 or 8-4 season this year.
But yea, this Utah blowout slightly makes Michigan's loss look better and MSU's win less impressive.AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill
