Tons of FCS schools & Sun Belt schools, almost nothing in terms of P5 conference competition. Ridiculous. They'll easily win all but 4 or 5 out of conference. This is FAR more pathetic OOC than I thought and expected everyone to have at least 3 cupcakes.

Iowa State, the two Kansas teams, and maybe even Oklahoma would fit well in the Big Ten, IMO. Not sure what I'd do with Okie State. Everybody else could to to the Pac 12/SEC
Texas crapped in the Big XII, and all that stayed like the money that came with the odor.

I would love to see Oklahoma (great rivalry restored) and Notre dame (easy win, easier to hate, another home game) join the conference.

        • Yea they were talking about that on ESPN Radio yesterday.

It annoyed me because their argument was that 8 SEC games on their schedule is difficult enough. Booger McFarland kept emphasizing that point.
It might be slightly true, but still annoying.

          • They parrot that line here incessantly. "The tough SEC schedule"

I tell them it's a load of shit. They are always a handful of over rated SEC schools, usually SC leads the bunch. This year it's Arkansas, followed closely by Tennessee

I had one guy disparage Florida State by sneering that they play in the "weak ACC". He shut up when I pointed out that the ACC teams beat the shit out of the SEC teams in head to head last year.

You can't stop it though. These fuckers come out of the womb spouting BS about the tough SEC schedule. I tell them it is like a song on AM radio. You keep hearing it over and over and pretty soon you start humming the tune...

            • Until the SEC has two bad years of out of conference losses and poor bowl performances, those annoying fans have reason to act like 90s Husker fans.

              • I do think the SEC is better, but not to the extent that ESPN or SEC fans hype them to be.

The good thing about the B10 is that most bottom teams should get better due to continuity.
I know I've brought up Purdue several times, but they are definitely not going to play like a 1-11 or 3-9 team next season.
3rd year of Hazel, plenty of playing experience in Hazel's system, and an improving QB situation... Purdue will definitely be better.
Their win-loss record might not be that much improved, but that is due to the B10 getting better as a whole.

So maybe the B10 perception in the media will improve. Yes, Ohio State won the National Championship... but that shouldn't be a surprise considering their head coach and recruiting.

SEC is very deep in 'Wisconsin' caliber teams, Wisky is B1G #3 give or take a spot. In the SEC there are usually about 6 Wisconsin caliber teams after the elite of Bama, LSU that tend to beat each other up.

                  • I can see the Pac XX making a run for the Texas and Oklahoma pair, then Air Force (Colorado) and BYU (Utah).

I would like to see the B1G take Syracuse from the ACC (premier NY team). My final pick for #16 would be between Notre Dame, Yukon, West Virginia or Kansas.

West Virginia would be a better fit for the SEC, but they might be interested in Baylor and Okie State.
