The problem, in general terms, is that the world of sports coverage/news has changed dramatically with the introduction of new media models. This looks like a lateral transfer with Debord in a holding pattern for a return to coaching (in the sickening UM model of care taking), clearly rejected by Harbaugh for any on field coaching duties then shuffled off to UT.

Sure, but it still has the fragrance of taking care of all Michigan men despite demonstrated incompetence at the college and pro level. He failed. M protected him.
Nonetheless, he's not on the field coaching at M, although I am sure that crazy idea was entertained, and instead he's gone..... where someone else has to re-find out about him .... but I'll bet, all things considered, he's a really nice guy and decent person.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. The problem with that approach is a kid could be left without a chair when the music stops. If you are a 5* blue chipper, most programs will find a way to get you in. If you are a run of the mill 3/4* recruit, I could see that approach backfiring more often than not.Comment
