I don't see Baylor staying undefeated but they'll certainly jump the Buckeyes if they remain undefeated; they have Oklahoma, Ok State, Texas & Texas Tech still to play. That'll certainly trump whatever Ohio has to play in the B10, even with their CCG.

But none of those are marque top 10 matchups right now and the voters have shown zero inclination to jump Baylor over OSU. I'm far more concerned about the two of the top 3 losing than Baylor jumping OSU.
They would never go ahead of Alabama. At wits Bama would fall to 3 behind Oregon and FSUDan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Why would I "troll" a M board? Gee, I don't know, maybe because I'm an OSU fan? LOL.
Answer my fucking question -- when did you trade in Idaho for Alabama? I'm guessing somewhere around Saban's 2nd season, which coincided with RichGOD disasters, first year I believe. That seems about right.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Boy, even ESPN is on board...for now....until OSU slogs through a dismal, gray trip to West Lafayette:
Favorites were put on upset alert, but only two -- No. 5 Missouri and No. 10 Texas Tech -- from the top 10 fell, as the top four teams in the country rolled, throttled and steamrolled their way to impressive wins. You know, there's a reason Alabama, Florida State, Oregon and Ohio State are the best of the best. They all dismantled their competition, outscoring opponents 199-55.
Alabama waxed Tennessee 45-10. Florida State erased last season's upsetting loss to NC State by thrashing the Wolfpack 49-17, while Ohio State cruised to a 63-14 win over Penn State.
Ironically, Oregon scored the least amount of points of the four with its 42-14 win over No. 12 UCLA. But don't knock the Ducks for a slower offensive start (only 14 points at halftime). They easily had the most impressive win of the day. They were the only squad of the four to take on another Top 25 team, and they had their way with the Bruins in the second half.
So let the debate rage: Who really is No. 1 now? Is Alabama, which has had one of the softest October schedules on record, still No. 1? The Crimson Tide led 35-0 at halftime Saturday in a game that was over before the second quarter even began. Since their thrilling 49-42 win at Texas A&M on Sept. 14, however, five of the Crimson Tide's six opponents have lacked winning records. Alabama has given up just 26 points in the last six games.
Still, Alabama is averaging 41 points per game since the A&M shootout and gave up 300 yards for the first time since that game on Saturday. The Tide were dealt this weak hand and they are doing exactly what they need to do to stay undefeated.
Meanwhile Oregon and Florida State are chugging right along, earning more and more respect. Fresh off that 51-14 beating of then-No. 3 Clemson, the Seminoles piled on 35 points behind that amazing arm of Famous Jameis Winston before the second quarter started. Hours later, Oregon made UCLA's No. 12 ranking look laughable with its performance in Eugene, Ore.
Neither Florida State nor Oregon has fallen below 41 points in a game this year.
Right now, no one would blame anyone for having an interchangeable top 3, but don't be surprised if people start leaning more toward the Noles and Ducks for that No. 1 spot after Saturday. After all, they did combine for 1,121 yards of offense.
Then there's Ohio State. The team that has now won a nation-leading 20 straight games is getting overlooked more and more. Maybe that's why Urban Meyer felt it was necessary to almost hit two-thirds of the century mark against the Nittany Lions. With the current state of the BCS standings, the Buckeyes needed style points and they're still getting them after that offensive performance.
It's still very early, and we've seen plenty of crazy things happen with the top team in the country in the past, but for now, the top four look exactly like they should. They are dominating and are making the thought of a playoff look better with every win and every touchdown they score.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

BTW, also worth remembering that the Baylor, at best, will go 12-0. OSU can go 13-0 with the CCG. Up until this week, between Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, Texas Tech, and Baylor, Oklahoma and Texas were the only two to have played each other. Now that they are about finished with the dregs of the Big12, their gaudy records will start taking hits. And Texas getting blown out by both BYU and Ole Miss will keep hurting the Big12's overall standing. They lack quality OOC wins even more so than the B1G.

Yeah, Baylor isn't the big issue.
Alabama vs LSU and then, hopefully, vs South Carolina.
Oregon vs. Stanford
Ohio State vs Michigan.
I don't think Florida State will come close to losing. Bah. I think Oregon will probably win out, but there's hope.
I think Ohio State is most likely heading for the 100th Rose Bowl and will probably play Stanford.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

With Saturday's game under control, Rice gave the smallest player in the Football Bowl Subdivision a moment in the spotlight.
Rice handed the ball to Jayson Carter, a 4-foot-9, 135-pound walk-on running back, late in the fourth quarter of the Owls' 45-7 win over UTEP.
Carter, who has a genetic disorder that hinders his growth, took the handoff from the left of the quarterback, carried it to the right tackle and was brought down for a 1-yard gain.
"I did what I was supposed to ? I didn't get negative yards," Carter said, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Carter has worked with the scout team for three years but made his college debut against UTEP.
"That young man is here every day busting his tail on the scout team. He deserves it," Rice coach David Bailiff said, according to the Chronicle. "I'm thrilled we got Jayson into a Division I football game."
Carter, a sophomore, downplayed his brief appearance in the game. In high school, Carter ran for 18 touchdowns and more than 1,200 yards as a tailback, according to the Chronicle. He also played defense, making 92 solo tackles, three sacks and an interception at safety.
"When you practice every day, it's like clockwork," Carter said. "I wasn't really thinking about it. It's just one carry."
