Rhule to Baylor is a bit of a setback for Oregon, who made a strong play for him last night, two people w/knowledge told @USATODAYsports

        • agree DSL.. but we don't know what was offered or said...

Also, he might be viewing the big12 as an easier conference to navigate than the PAC12

                • Heh ...... on the serious side, Salaam was the '94 Heisman Trophy winner. He played for CU.

Per unofficial reports, he was found dead in his car in a parking lot. No foul play suspected.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

                  • Before he died, every Heisman winner of the last 55 years was alive.

                    Thanks, Obama.

Both of the great backs featured in the 2 v 3 "1994 NC Semifinal" Nebraska-Colorado game passed this year.

Yeah. One immediately after it became clear he was spending the rest of his life in jail, and the other, not.

Fickell is actively looking, too. If he could get an Ohio job he'd take it, I think. I think he's at the stage of his career where he has to decided if he wants to be a career coordinator or not.

I really hope they keep Schiano, but he's gonna be gone this year or next year anyway. It'll be interesting to see who UFM brings in.

Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
                              Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

                              • I think they should keep Fickell as the eventual successor.
