If Penn State wins out and Ohio State wins out, for the committee to take Ohio State, they would have to let TWO P5 Champions sit at home.
That will be difficult for the committee.
I don't think anyone from the Big12 will be there. West Virginia is the only 1-loss team left and they play Oklahoma next week.
So Alabama, the Pac12 champ (maybe), the ACC champ, and it'll come down to whether they would want a Big10 champ Wisconsin or OSU. And OSU won in Madison. OSU's argument a lot weaker if Penn State wins the conference.
Unless there's a playoff rule I don't know about where a conf champ has to be taken ahead of another team in the same conf
They would have hard time taking Wisky over OSU. In terms of resume, OSU would blow Wisky's away. They have 2 quality wins. OSU, if that was the discussion, would have 4 and 2 of them would be on the road.
If it were Alabama in this position there wouldn't be a second thought. They'd even rematch them with the team that beat them...at home.

Right. If Bama were somehow upset by Tennessee or Florida in the SEC title game, there's not a snowball's chance in hell that the committee would take the SEC champ over them.
IU did everything they could to give that game away and finally managed to do so. Bah.
I'm not sure who goes b/t 11-2 PSU and 11-1 OSU. If OU wins out and Wisky wins out to the B10 CG, then OSU is going to have 2 ROAD wins against top 10 teams. And if they're 11-1, they'll have a win over another top 10 team. And if UNL wins out, another top 25 team. And their only loss was on a ridiculous blocked fg on the road against a top 10 team.
I'm not particularly sure the P12 champ is going to get in.
Alabama is obviously in. They could lose in the SEC CG and still make it because they're Alabama and they shit fucking rainbows.
Clemson is in if the win out, but I'm not so sure they win out (including the CCG).
I'm really not sure a P12 team gets in. It'd almost have to be Washington. Colorado or Utah, with two losses, no way. Wazzu -- no way.
So if OSU wins out, then it's Alabama-OSU-Clemson-Louisville going into the CGs. Wisky and PSU are probably 5 and 6.
Well, F, no sense in thinking about it. HARBAUGH is winning in Columbus, so it'll all work out.
