        • Really, I think Saban's greatest gift is his ability to keep that program angry and sharp despite all the success they have. IDK how he does it.

You have to play angry and sharp when the next guy in line is good enough to plug into your spot and the team won't miss a beat.

Alabama's talent and depth is unmatched.

            Fuckers.

              • Did you see the SC aussie punter drop the ball, in the first half? Then fall on it immediately with nobody near him. John Baxter (Michigan last year) is SC's special teams coach, and hes still living the dropped snap nightmare.

                • Last game of the night, good one - RichRod loses in Glendale 18-16 to BYU on last second FG

                  • Wonder how many years Helton lasts at USC before they realize he isn't even close to Pete Carrell...
                    Maybe 2-3 years?
His time at USC will be a waste of time if their fans expect playoffs

As for BYU: dark horse playoff team, here they come!

                    • Off the top of my head, Virginia, Washington State, and Iowa State all lost to FCS teams. Any others?

                      • Mississippi State lost to South Alabama 21/20.

Ohio (not that Ohio) lost to Texas State 56/54.

Arkansas almost lost to Loisiana Tech but prevailed 21/20.

Southern Miss (???) beat Kentucky 44/35.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

                        • All those teams are D1, Jeff.

Like Medicine, CFB changes every 3-6 month.

                            • Texas State and South Alabama are relatively new (4 years in FBS). The others have been D1 for decades iirc.
