Texas' preferred option remains keeping Big 12 intact. Not everybody is on board with that sentiment. OU and OSU and Tech looking to Pac-12.

The offense has to show it is more than the Denard Robinson and Jeremy Gallon getting jump balls show.

The defense has to put a DL on the field that is better at getting pressure up front than they have shown so far; consistent LB play play to play is needed. Depth at DB wouldn't hurt either.

We may be seeing a starting LB unit of Demmens, Hawthorn and Ryan emerge.

Helps explain Miles reluctance to jump ship a second time, it was often suggested that he has had 2-3 excellent years of recruiting that is about to pay dividends. Seems unflappable too when his starting QB is facing felony charges and they still roll Oregon. BCS title game looms on the horizon for him IMO.

LSU beat better competition thus far in Oregon, the only reason I have them at #1A to Bama's #1B.

Bama's defense has a chance to be legendary, even better than the 2009 championship team.
