  • Dementia is becoming an epidemic in this country. By age 85 an estimated 40% of people have it.

    • Doc, my mother-in-law had a stroke 10 months ago and now we are seeing dementia rearing its ugly head. Couple that with the depression that comes with the awareness of physical and mental losses, its been tough. Without medicating to the point of zombie-ness, is there any treatment strategy that seems to be effective?

      • Thanks to the AP for some pretty decent bulletin board material for Schembechler Hall.

No, I don't think Michigan and Harbaugh "need" something like this to get fired up about. Motivation always takes care of itself.

But its a cute little thing to help move things along toward November.

I watched the 30 for 30 a few weeks back on McCartney, his days in Colorado were absolutely crazy. With his religious believes, players troubles, his star QB knocks up his daughter. Then the player gets terminally ill and dies. And still wins a share of the NC the next year.
He wouldn't have won a share had Liney not allowed the fifth down at Mizzou...just sayin'...

              • You (Bama) have pulled away from the field with your recent success with Saban. 3-through-8 are tough to distinguish, you can nearly lump them all together.

I'm fine comparing OSU and M from 1919 forward when they both were members of B10.

                    • Mike Dantonio hangs up on Fox Sports interviewers this morning

Im sure this question got Mike heated.

Mike North and Andy Furman, the hosts of FOX Sports Daybreak, opened their interview by asking Dantonio if Jim Harbaugh has "gotten into your head a little bit" with his antics at Michigan.

The Michigan State football coach appears to have hung up on a national radio interview on Wednesday morning after a series of inane questions from the show's hosts.
