It's unfortunate a lot of these recent games have been blowouts.
After Wisconsin USC, a game hardly anyone saw the end of, it's been mostly noncompetitive...
I'd say big 12 defenses... I'd also suggest the 12 gets away with more offensive penalties than other conferences during the season and fewer D. When they hit other conference refs I think it hurts them. I commented on it many times this year... Lack of offensive PI or holding as well as tick tack D penalties. I think it creates the excitement they want, but makes it tougher when guys are not allowed to run free in secondaries. Jmo

Agreed. The Pokes are horrible. How did they win 10 games?
Probably only Baylor played a worse non-conference schedule than them.
I remember they did beat TCU pretty good but don't remember if TCU had key players missing for that game. They lost convincingly to Oklahoma and Baylor. Texas, Kansas State, and West Virginia all nearly beat them.

Good point. But Ole Miss is missing a ton of folks. I was hoping Okie State would beat the Rebel badtards.

Oklahoma St met their reasonable peak already.
They went 12-1 in 2011, won a BCS game, and finished 3rd in the final ranking.
Any Oklahama State fan shouldn't expect more. Maybe they are the Iowa of the B12... One chance every 4 years of being a great team is what they should do.
